Salad
Soup, Salad and a glass of wine!
To compliment the soup you serve, offer a fresh green salad. It's very easy today since you can buy bags of fresh greens from your food distributor, that are ready to serve. If you wish, you can slice up some tomatoes, scallions, radishes or cucumbers to enhance the salad. Offer your guests a choice of 3 dressings: Blue Cheese, Italian and another of your choice. Preparation time is less than 10 minutes.
The only other addition would be to serve bread since it goes so well with soup and salad. CBC suggests buying a baguette, cut into small slices and serve. Baguettes are easily purchased from the bakery counter at your local supermarket and they are excellent.
These small changes are worth $10 added to your room-rate...3x the your cost to serve this fare. This is a great way to exceed guest expectations.

Start with a bag of salad greens, a few tomatoes and scallions.

Offer 3 salad dressings in small bowls with lids. Never serve dressings from the container.

Add a fresh baguette and you have just won over guests for life. Don't forget butter pats!
