Social Room Concept
Introducing: The Social Room Concept
Congratulations...you have determined that serving a great breakfast is necessary to meet guest expectations, and when served well, gives your hotel the edge that allows you to maintain...even increase your room rates. Now you can take guest expectations to the next level by providing delicious, easy to prepare and serve soup and salad. No guest looks forward to checking-in to your hotel, then having to leave to find a place to eat. The "social room" concept easily transforms your breakfast room into a comfortable place for your guest to mingle and enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer, to complement a great bowl of soup, a cold, fresh salad and a piece of fresh bread. Or maybe it's an individual pizza that makes sense for you to serve. Either way, it's "convenience" that travelers want, so give it to them! This all adds up to value, one great reason for travelers to choose your hotel.

CBC recommends Chef Francisco soups by Heinz that are available from your local food distributor in ready-to-heat bags. The soups come frozen and simply need thawed overnight, then heated in boiling water for about 10 minutes. Carefully remove the bag, cut the corner to form a spout, and then pour contents into the soup merchandiser. It's that simple. When you order the merchandiser shown above, you will receive complete instructions including taking care of leftovers so that there is little to no waste. Just talk to your food distributor to order your soups and follow the very easy instructions.
The following soups have been tested in the CBC kitchen and we are pleased to recommend the following:- Mushroom and Brie Bisque
- Red Rock Seafood Bisque
- Roasted Yukon Gold Potato Chowder
- Home-Style Chicken Noodle Soup
- Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Bisque
- Broccoli Cheese Soup
- Baja Chicken Enchilada Soup
